A Lifetime of Service

Cason has demonstrated his commitment to serving others throughout his life. Whether offering his time to teach an ethics course to middle school students, volunteering each week at the Ronald McDonald House while in college, or helping to operate the Scott Carter Foundation in an effort to find a cure for childhood cancer, Cason has always put his belief in the importance of serving others into action. Duke University awarded Cason with the Lars Lyon Scholarship Award for his demonstrated record of service to the community during college.

Cason has channeled his personal commitment to service into being a leader. While working as a full-time attorney and serving on the Tulsa City Council, Cason volunteered and continues to volunteer as a big brother in the Big Brothers and Big Sisters program. He also helps raise funds for the children of fallen firefighters and police officers, serves on the Board of the Golden Eagle Club for the Oral Roberts University Athletic Department, and serves on the Board of the Salvation Army.

A Proven Track-Record of Success

While on the City Council, Cason co-sponsored an ordinance to crackdown on illegal immigrants arrested for crimes. He also worked to remove the dilapidated Camelot hotel and fought to use taxpayer dollars more wisely by introducing a budget amendment to fund basic government services rather than government expansion. Cason proposed a charter change to move City elections to the fall, allowing newly elected officials sufficient time to work on the budget. Cason also successfully changed the City of Tulsa's workers' compensation policies to increase employee safety and to reduce payments to get in line with private sector practices and state law. In the wake of the ice storm, Cason helped raise over $1 Million in private funds to help rebuild Tulsa's urban forest. Most importantly, while serving on the Council Cason made serving his constituents his chief priority. Cason Carter is the dynamic leader Tulsa needs in the State Senate.

See What Others Are Saying About Cason

"I am a small business owner in Tulsa. When construction was hurting traffic flow into my business, I called on Cason Carter and he helped me get the access I needed to keep my business going during the construction. I really appreciate his hard work for small businesses."

Kenny Bippus
Owner Southland Service Center

"Every time I called on Cason Carter he provided quick and helpful information and assistance. During the ice storm, he took a pro-active approach and helped us in our time of need. In my opinion, Cason's concern and ability to assist us in difficult situations makes him an excellent public servant and I believe that he would be a great State Senator."

John Arrington
President 2300 Riverside Unit Owners, Inc.

"Cason was a 'go-to' person to get things done in our community. He was a strong advocate for development in the South Peoria area while serving as our City Councilor: helping facilitate neighborhood planning, encouraging infrastructure improvements to the area, and helping us gain resources to help area residents through the South Peoria Neighborhood House. Cason was frequently in attendance at neighborhood meetings and made himself available, and often took the lead, to facilitate discussion of issues pertinent to the community at other times. I see him continuing this 'go-to' attitude while serving as our State Senator."

Dr. Lanny Endicott
President South Peoria Neighborhood Connection Foundation, Inc.

"Cason is always eager, willing, and able to help. Small businesses are greatly benefited by Cason's representation at any level of government and I fully support his effort to become our State Senator."

Janine Morales
President Brookside Business Association

"As a private developer looking to invest in Tulsa, Cason Carter was extremely helpful. He put me in contact with neighborhood leaders and was able to help facilitate a project that will be a great benefit for Tulsa."

John Gilbert
Senior Vice President Bomasada Group, Inc.

"When we experienced significant flooding in our area I was amazed at how quickly Cason Carter started helping us. The day after I contacted him with my concerns, he responded and organized a neighborhood meeting with the city Public Works Department, which took place within 5 days. He followed through by attending that and a subsequent meeting. Cason truly is a public servant and represents exactly what we need from our elected officials. He has my support."

Patricia L. Seibert
Resident Florence Park South

"Cason Carter has been a great help to our neighborhood. Whether it was helping us work with the police department to crackdown on crime or fulfilling his promise to remove the dilapidated Camelot hotel, Cason Carter always delivered. I appreciate his efforts as a public servant."

Wendi Ward
President of the Heller Park Neighborhood Association

"When residents were experiencing the effects of debris storage in Johnson Park I called on Cason Carter.  He immediately put the item on the agenda and helped get the debris removed to its final location in a matter of weeks.  This is exactly the kind of effective leadership we need in the State Senate."
